NICL AO IT Mains examination consists of an online Objective Test of 250 Marks (250 Questions / 180 Mins sectional timing) covering Reasoning (40 Q / 35m), English (40 Q / 30m), General Awareness (40 Q / 20m), Computer Knowledge (40 Q / 25m), Quantitative Aptitude (40 Q / 35m), and IT Professional Knowledge (50 Q / 35m). In addition, a Descriptive Test of 30 Marks (30 Mins) is conducted with 3 questions: Essay (10 Mks), Precis Writing (10 Mks), and Reading Comprehension (10 Mks).
