Why The Victory Key
We transcribed and topic-tagged 2,748 questions from 24 official DSSSB papers across TGT CS, PGT CS, Manager (IT), Technical Assistant, DEO and Craft Instructor exams, held between 2017 and 2024. Our notes spend the most time on what DSSSB actually asks.
Coaching sites copy the syllabus; we counted the questions. For example, in 12 TGT CS papers, Operating Systems (9.2%) and Computer Networks (9.0%) lead, and Linux commands is the single most-asked topic.
DSSSB uses different indicative syllabi for different departments. The DoE TGT CS syllabus is a BCA-style list with Accounting, Economics, Maths and .NET. The NDMC TGT CS syllabus is CBSE-style and Python-heavy. We cover both, and tell you which applies to your post code.
Each previous-year question comes with a worked explanation. When the official answer key is wrong or the question is flawed, we say so and explain why. Dropped questions are marked.
Every formula (scheduling, paging, subnetting, K-maps, COCOMO, statistics, numerical methods) is typeset properly, with worked examples checked by computation. Code examples are compiled and run.
Concepts are explained in Hinglish, with English technical terms as they appear in the paper. The notes are compact and table-heavy for fast revision.

DSSSB recruits Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in Computer Science for Delhi Government schools, mainly under the Directorate of Education (DoE), and also for NDMC and other bodies. The exam is a single-tier, 200-question objective test. Your rank depends mostly on the 100-question subject section, which also includes teaching methodology.

PGT Computer Science
The PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Computer Science exam is longer and deeper than TGT. It has 300 questions in 3 hours, with 200 of them on the subject. It is not a harder TGT: it has its own subject mix, dominated by digital logic, computer organisation, web technologies, OS, DBMS and C++.

Programmer
“Programmer” means different things at DSSSB. The DUSIB Programmer (Post Code 29/25) is a full computer-science post with a 200-question subject section. The DSCSC Programmer (Post Code 63/24) is a data-entry-type post with only a general paper and a skill test. Check your post code before choosing a course.

What the closest official papers show: Manager (IT) 2022 and 2023, 206 IT questions: emerging tech (ML, Big Data/Hadoop, AI) led with 39 questions, then Computer Networks 19, Cyber Security 17, Discrete Maths 14, Software Engineering 13 and Algorithms 13. No free official DSSSB “Programmer” question paper is publicly available; our course uses the official syllabus plus these related papers.

It is a single-tier objective exam of 200 questions (200 marks) in 2 hours. Section A has 100 general questions: 20 each on General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, Hindi and English. Section B has 100 questions on Computer Science, including teaching methodology. The 2023 and 2024 papers had 90 CS and 10 teaching-methodology questions. There is 0.25 negative marking.
It is a single-tier exam of 300 questions (300 marks) in 3 hours. Section A has 100 general questions and Section B has 200 subject questions, including teaching methodology. The 2021 paper had 180 CS and 20 teaching-methodology questions. There is 0.25 negative marking.
In our analysis of 1,130 questions from 12 official TGT CS papers, the top subjects were Operating Systems (9.2%), Computer Networks (9.0%), Number Systems & Digital Logic (7.4%), Commerce & Economics (6.7%), DBMS & SQL (6.6%), Software Engineering (5.6%) and Web Technologies (5.1%).
It depends on the post. The NDMC-style syllabus is Python-centred, and the February 2024 paper had 22% Python questions. The DoE syllabus (for example post code 56/24) does not list Python, and the 2021 and 2023 papers had almost no Python. Prepare Python if your post follows the NDMC syllabus, or keep it as a secondary topic.
The DoE indicative syllabus for TGT Computer Science is degree-level and includes Financial Accounting, Business Economics, Business Communication, Mathematics, Statistics, Interpolation and basic Physics. In the 2021 and 2023 papers these allied subjects made up a significant share of the discipline section.
DSSSB Advertisement 03/2026 (dated 29-05-2026) notified TGT Computer Science, Post Code 41/26, under the Directorate of Education with 675 vacancies. Check the official DSSSB website for the exam date.
Yes. 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer in the TGT, PGT and Programmer exams.
Under Advertisement 05/2024, the minimum qualifying marks apply to Section B: 40% for General/EWS, 35% for OBC (Delhi) and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD. Final merit is based on the total of Sections A and B. Check the current advertisement for your post.
No. Both are one-tier written (computer-based) examinations with no interview.
PGT has twice as many subject questions (200 vs 100) and a different emphasis: digital logic, computer organisation, web technologies, C++, Visual Basic and multimedia feature heavily. TGT (DoE) mixes core CS with allied subjects like Commerce, Maths and MIS.
The DUSIB Programmer (Post Code 29/25) has a 200-question subject section in a 300-question, 3-hour exam. The DSCSC Programmer (Post Code 63/24) has only a general paper followed by a skill test.
DSSSB has published several official question papers with answers marked, for example TGT CS 2021 and PGT CS 2018–2022. Our course includes all official TGT CS questions from 2017–2024 solved topic by topic.
Not always. DSSSB itself dropped some questions for “discrepancy”. In our review of TGT CS questions, we flagged 16 official answers as likely wrong and 34 questions as flawed or ambiguous, each with an explanation.
